Greetings, This is the initial posting to the GIS Hydrography Resources discussion forum.

The purpose of this space is to provide a venue for opinions, thoughts, innovative ideas to be shared by WIGICC stakeholders interested in hydrography resources data use and furthering work to improve those assets. WIGICC encourages you to make use of this valuable community venue here in the Hydrography Resources Forum, and in all other Forums now active..

As a preliminary notice, I would like to inform Network participants that we also have plans in the works to create a GIS Hydrography Resources Community of Practice group. I have offered to sponsor this group, and will be coordinating with key players in the community at-large to further define and form this CoP during the summer and autumn months of 2009.

If you have interest participating in the formation of the Hydrography Resources CoP, contact me when you're at the June 10th Network Meeting and/or via email.
